What is WIC?
WIC is a nutrition program for:
- Pregnant women
- Breastfeeding women
- Women who have been pregnant in the past 6 months
- Infants
- Children under age 5
WIC provides the following to eligible participants at no cost:
- Healthy foods
- Nutrition education and counseling
- Breastfeeding support
- Referrals to health care, immunizations and community services
In Florida, approximately 500,000 participants are served by WIC each month.
Eligibility
- You are eligible for WIC if you meet ALL of the following requirements:
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an infant, or a child up to 5 years of age
- You are currently living in Florida, but you do not have to be a U.S. citizen
- You have a nutrition risk that is determined by WIC staff
- You are income eligible*

You may call our WIC appointment phone line to schedule an appointment – 407-343-2085. Please tell the operator which site you would like your appointment for – there are three sites to serve you:
