The Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (FBCCEDP) makes it easy to get the breast and cervical cancer screenings doctors recommend.

The FBCCEDP was created in response to the Breast and Cervical Cancer Mortality Act of 1990; Public Law 101-354.

Early detection is the key to successful diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and cervical cancer. You may receive no-cost or low-cost exams through a federal program, including:

  • Follow-up care for abnormal results
  • Clinical breast exam
  • Mammogram
  • Pap test

Women screened through the program and diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer may be eligible for treatment.
